Just heard of Pat's death. What a truly lovely man he was. It was a joy to have known and worked with him. I remember you Edel from your PR days when I worked in IDA's Press Office.

I was greatly saddened to learn of Paddy’s death. We were friends as schoolmates and were delighted to renew that friendship many years later when we reconnected on the high wildernesses of Ireland in all weathers.
