The memories I have of my time spent with my uncle Pat will be something I cherish forever.

I don’t think I have ever addressed him by his full and correct tile of gran uncle, it always has and always will be uncle Pat to me.

Pat was a very big part of my childhood growing up, spending a summer staying with my Nana Joan and gaga Frank in Mooncoin and although I was young at the time, Pats presence was well and truly appreciated.

In later years, I am very grateful to have spent time with Pat in his new found home of Ballinrobe, talking over great coffee and reminiscing over his childhood and life experiences.

My sincerest sympathies are with all of the communities, associates and friends that Pat had impacted in his positive and proactive nature. I take some comfort in the thought of Pat reuniting with his dearest Foxy. A true friend that I and others will miss so very much.

I knew Pat from our time together in Bewleys. He took me on as a sales rep and promoted me to Sales Manager.

We worked together again in Jacob Fruitfield, when he came out of retirement to help me out in my new job.

Pat was a great leader, mentor and friend to me in our time that we worked together. I know he was really enjoying his retirement in Mayo, and had made some great friends there
