Very sorry to hear about Pat passing.

When, a beautiful Kathleen married Pat, 56 years ago in Gortjordan church
I was, one of the mass servers, celebrated by a "pastor"/ "priest" called
Fr. Mairtin Lang......Not a nice person??!!, looking back or then.
A few years later FR. Crosby, was my science/biology teacher in ST. Marys,Galway. He was my favourite teacher.
Long live Good people and their children. I, too got wages in years past
from Pat, like T.J Kilgannon.
RIP, Pat Loughlin, a Good man, and " Keep our Faith" Kathleen.

I am a first cousin of John Higgins and Mary Higgins Judge. I'm also the son of Eddie Fahy, brother of Kathleen Fahy Higgins from Caherlistrane.

I didn't know Pat very well, in fact the last time I saw Pat and Kathleen was in their home on New Year's Eve 1999. We welcomed in the new century together.

I was visiting from Chicago and Pat and Kathleen generously invited me, at the last minute, to come and celebrate New Year's Eve with them. It was a wonderful evening of warmth, hospitality, and friendship.

Over the subsequent years, in conversations with my Caherlistrane family, I heard the most wonderful things about Pat's and Kathleen's care for John and Mary and the warm relationships they had with their mother - my aunt Kathleen, my father Eddie, and the Fahy family in general.

May God rest Pat's soul. May Pat's memory be a blessing. And, may God bless all of us and our families.
