Patrick, don’t think I will ever have the words to fully explain how much you meant to me growing up, your quick whit, outrageous sense of humour but you kinda heart is something I will truly cherish. My class was taught by Mr Guthrie and we were probably his worse and least favourite class,i always felt so bad for him when nobody listened to him.Now i wish i can go back and tell my class just to listen to what he wants to say. I give all condolences to Mr guthrie's family members and close friends.

Patrick, thank you for the countless memories growing up. The long years of school, gallavanting around, getting into mischief at weekends with the lads, and everything in between- nothing would have been the same without you. I am so sorry to learn this shocking news about Patrick. I worked with him and found him to be a kind, gentle soul who had a great sense of fun. He was always supportive and was so committed to being a teacher. He will be missed enormously and my condolences to his family.
