Sincere sympathies to Peggy and all the Reilly family on the passing of Packie Joe. He was a lovely friendly man and I enjoyed his visits in Drumbad.

I learned today of Joe’s passing. He was my godfather and so generous and kind. My mother and father, Kay and Graham, were so very fond of Joe, and he was always so good to me. Sincere condolences to you all. There goes one of life’s true gentlemen.

My condolences to the Reilly family on the passing of Joe. Joe was a nephew of our nearest neighbour Mary Ellen Reilly , Drumbad. When Joe and his wife Bridie came to visit Mary Ellen they also visited our house and always brought us sweets when were children. I particularly remember they visited Drumbad on the day England won the world cup in 1966. They were both lovely people and may they rest in peace.

Joe was a great character and a fabulous dancer.
He lit up every room he walked into with his jovial nature. I shall miss my quicksteps.

My family and I send our condolences to Peter and Helen and all the family . I first met Joe in 1960 when Bridie my cousin and he came to Corby after getting engaged after a whirlwind courtship . They were made for each other . Joe was a gentleman and will be greatly missed by all who knew him .
He is dancing in Heaven with Bridie now .
