From the laughter us taking part in the Irish Life Mespil Rd Christmas Panto Mother Goose, 50 years ago today , and the Panto that was the following years establishing Irish Life in Birmingham —the craic was mighty!! — Pat rolling down his car window in Wolverhampton “ Property Bonds, Property Bonds , get the last of your Property Bonds” á la moore street, He will be missed!

On a golfing trip in Florida many years ago we visited Cape Canaveral, he gathered us all together at the entrance and explained that this was a space station and under no circumstances was anyone to press any button!!!!

Pat was our Irish Life Inspector in the 80’s. We have many happy memories of time spent with him both in business and socially. Fondly remembered for his catchphrase “Leave it with me” a true gentleman.

Mary and I were saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. He was a great companion on and off the golf course. We all enjoyed his company during our many golf trips to Spain . He was always in good humour, a great raconteur and entertainer with good stories and a very pleasant singing voice. He will be greatly missed.
