As a colleague with the good fortune to know PJ and looking back on a lifetime of interactions, in the staffroom, classroom, sideline, educational tours of various types and other school related activities the predominant memories are laden with fun, humour, harmless devilment, storytelling from the Bannerlsnd fused with more local tales which inevitably had political and sporting characters playing leading roles. His historical knowledge predated many of these characters but to a younger staff member it was indeed educational and frequently interrupted by the bell. You knew it was to be continued at the first available opportunity.To the family and friends, in the midst of loss the found memories are a legacy to be continued…Slan abhaile
