Having just learned of his death and burial I am reminded of the years we worked alongside each other in the IDA. He had a great ability to develop new and innovative ideas and to find practical ways of implementing difficult tasks. May he Rest in Peace.

While I didnt know your husband/father personally I wish to offer you my Sincerest Condolences on the passing of this Gentleman whom I spotted over the past few years on my walks around 'The Square'. He and his wife would be soaking up the sun outside their home most summer evenings. I missed him this summer.

I am so sorry to hear of PJ's passing. We worked together on a number of projects when I was seconded to the Dept of Industry & Commerce in the 1970s. PJ was a superb colleague, personable, smart, diligent, possessing a great sense of humour. His grasp of economics and statistics (domestic and international) was most impressive. I was not at all surprised that his career in IDA Ireland proved so successful. It was a real privilege to know and work with him, a true inspiration to me in my early career. Rest in peace, PJ.
