Sincere sympathy to PJ's family of the death of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, sibling, in law. Apologies as I was unable to attend. He was a gentleman and an asset to Longford giving of his best to everything he was involved in. I had the privilege of working with him. He was generous to us young teachers starting off our careers in the 70's in the Battery Road. He was fair and logical in his approach, another brilliant servant of Longford VEC gone. RIP. He loved Irish and sad to see him leave this world the same month as another Gaelgoir Manchan Magan. Slan agus go raibh maith agat.
