We are sad to hear of Pat’s passing. May his memory be a blessing to you. We are grateful to have had many visits with Betty & Pat. They were very special and now will be together in Eternal life. RIP. Betty was truly the love of Pat’s life.

Lots of great memories of times with Pat, visiting him in Sutton with Annie & Mikie - they still remember the rides he gave them up and down the stair lift and how he wowed them with his magic (electric) curtains - he really took the time to enjoy their company. We had so many great chats over the years about the places we had travelled, no matter where I mentioned - Egypt, the Suez Canal and the Middle East, India, Malaysia, China - Pat had been there before me and had a funny story to tell. I was so sorry to learn of Pat’s passing. What a brilliant man. I remember properly meeting him at a Keating get-together when I was younger and thinking he was my grandad ‘Daddy Matt’ in the flesh! He is a credit to his original profession as a seagoing Radio Officer and it was a privilege to have worked with him. .
