Well dear Pat,I remember well, our days in Chiswick. The meet ups in your apartment with John and our away from home"family", to watch the Eurovision and the laughs we all had. Mary popped down on many occasions too.
You were always such a gentle gent.
"Those were the days my friend..".
You have now flown to the moon and "somewhere over the rainbow"

I have fond memories of Pat visiting from London to Church Road Borrisokane every Christmas. He was the perfect gentleman and so kind and friendly to everyone he met. He never changed in all the time I knew him and always had time for a chat at family events. May he now rest in peace .

To Mary ,Jim,John,Tony and all of Pats family and friends my deepest and sincere condolences on Pats passing. For me on receiving the news of Pat’s passing it brought the curtain down on a friendship between Pat and I of near on 50 years. In my life I can honestly say I’ve never met a nicer more helpful person than Pat.He was kind, empathic, generous, funny, patient, tolerant and just an all round decent man who gave so much of himself to help and support others , myself included. Pat and I over the years of our friendship, laught,cried, shared our stories , holidayed togeather , fell in and out of our friendship from time to time but we always found a way a way back.That was Pat’s motto in life “don’t tell me the problem , tell me the solution. Safe journey Pat, to your next resting place in the Cosmos and this I’m certain off, whereever it is your heading it will not be boring or without adventure when you arrive,off that I’m 100% certain. Take care my life long friend and I’ll catch you further on up the road.
