Pat brought many gifts to our community especially through his writing and wicked sense of humour.
It was always a pleasure to chat either on the street or during his occasional visits to our pub.

Our deepest condolences to Pats family on his sudden passing. He was a part of the landscape of Athboy for many years and was happy to chat to everyone he met. We will miss him on his daily shopping trips to Bird’s Centra where he enjoyed the banter with us all. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Patrick’s family on his recent death. His writings will be missed in future editions of ‘Circle of Pens’, which is published annually by Athboy Writers Forum. Patrick was a dedicated contributor to this book. May Patrick rest in peace.
