Absolutely shocked and saddened by Paddy’s recent passing, sincere sympathies to his wife Mary, family and extended family, from his neighbours and friends in Fernhill. He was always willing to help out and I personally will miss not seeing him in the town park on Saturday mornings. May his kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace.

So saddened and shocked at the news of the death of Paddy. I had the pleasure of being his commanding officer and he was a top class and absolutely reliable soldier. We met just three weeks ago for a brief chat about old days in Rockhill. Little did I imagine it would be our final meeting. Unfortunately I cannot attend the funeral so extend my deepest sympathy to his wife and extended family. May his kind soul rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear of Paddy's passing. I had the privilege of serving with him in Lebanon in 1981. I remember him as quiet, unassuming and an excellent soldier. My sincere condolences to all his family, may he Rest in Peace.
