So sorry to learn of Patsy's passing, and send my sincere condolences to his wife and family. He was a lovely man, never changed from our days in St Mel's College,always kind and good company. His old classmates always looked forward to our little reunions whenever he came back on holidays, and his thoughtful messages at Christmas.. We will miss him, may his gentle soul rest in peace.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Patsy Mac, grasta De ar a anam Gaelach.Patsy was an original "all-rounder": accomplished amateur actor even as a schoolboy, a talented footballler in either code and a highly intelligent student, he was probably the only Connacht GAA medalist to have also played in the F.A.Cup in England. I was sorry to hear of Patsy’s passing. My sincere sympathy to Michael and Mary. Patsy was a talented footballer. He played for his native Mohill, Saint Mel’s College and Leitrim. He was on the Leitrim minor team that played in the All Ireland final against Dublin in 1956. May he rest in peace.

I am sure he would have known my late father Michael Crossan & his brothers Joe and Vincent (both deceased), growing up in Glebe Street. My grandmother Rosie ran a Sweet Shop opposite the Cinema here in Glebe St. which was well known at that time.
