Pat was such a lovely neighbour to us will miss him greatly, work keep out time limited but over the year's he taught me alot with his amazing knowledge about everything he was a pure joy to talk with wish we could have had more time , so upset for his family whom he spoke of at almost every conversation we had, rest in peace 🙏

My deepest sympathy to Pat’s friends and family. Pat appointed me when working for Bausch & Lomb in Kingston-upon-Thames, England in the mid 90’s. I recall with great fondness his dry wit, generosity, sharp mind, and caring nature. He was the best boss I ever worked for, and a thoroughly decent man.

Sharp as a tack, goofier than you would expect, and always with a cup of tea in hand. Some of my first memories are of walking with my granpa on the cold Irish beach, alongside ganni and my sisters. I will miss our short but potent phone calls, all the unsolicited (but welcome) advice, and sharing big Irish breakfasts with him when we would visit. Missing you already, granpa.

I was Pats taxi man for the last few years, absolute gentleman, we had some great conversations on our trips up and down to Dublin for medical appointments, I will really miss him, so sorry for your loss Declan and Kieran,he always spoke so highly of both of you, may he Rest In Peace.

I was so sad to hear of
Mo Chara Patrick’s sudden passing .
He was one of my favourite customers as we bonded over our shared love of the Irish language, I remember the first day I met Patrick he asked in the cafe could any of the staff speak Irish luckily I am fluent and we shared many cupla focail.
I will miss our chats and his intelligence and wisdom and all the amazing advice he has given me.
