We all got to know Pat who was an absolute gentleman and scholar as he would walk through Melview estate during his daily walks to town. Thinking of all of Pat's family at this sad time. May Pat rest in eternal peace.

I was so sad to see that Mr Lynch has passed away. I spent many happy times in his home at Seaview Park in Tramore. As Caoimhe's neighbour and classmate we shared school lifts and moved back and forth between houses. One of my early memories is of the day his beloved Pearl passed away (we saw Pat pulling the curtains closed one sad afternoon) and my Dad shed a tear. Mr Lynch aslo happened to be our school inspector so I enjoyed the fact that i was on personal terms with him! After the Lynches moved to Dublin he continued to invite me up to see the Panto in the Gaiety and spend time with the girls. He would meet me at Heuston and we would head to watch Maureen Potter and he would always have arranged a request for us....I even remember his blue car and the upholstery!
Im so sorry for your loss Caoimhe. My mam will be v sad when she hears. He was a warm, kind and impressive man.
