Patrick Murphy

My love and deepest condolences to the Murphy family from the USA. I had the great privilege of being a college exchange student in 1985 and the Murphys were my host family. I love Ireland and have always had a deep affection for the Murphys. So glad my husband and I were able to make it over in 2019 and that we had the joy of hosting much of the Murphy family in the USA at different times over the last 4 decades. So many laughs, great conversations. As a follower of Jesus and a student of Scripture, my hope is in the knowledge of eternity with my Lord and Savior, Jesus. And I bet Pat will be waiting my arrival. Rest in peace, dear Irish dad.

At Mass today the priest said it all in Pat wasGentle and a Gentlemen, So very sorry for your great loss We all know the love and great care that his family ❤ 🙏 gave to pat as he went through a lot of difficulties in the last year . He was witty and a good sense of humour . I will miss him a lot in D C U of course i still gave him a lot of friendly ribbing .Rest in peace Pat you are now with our Lord in your eternal home .
