It was with great regret that I learned today of the death of one of the last true gentlemen of this world, our uncle, Patrick Murphy (RIP). Patrick's presence always brought great humour, advice and insight, wisdom and care to all that he met. Throughout the time I knew him, Patrick's deep love for his wife Monica (RIP), his family, the farm and his animals, his neighbours, provided us all with an example of how to live our lives well. A proud Fermanagh man, Patrick's interest in his local GAA club and County GAA are legendary as he offered his perspectives on Ulster football, often whilst having a wee dram. Patrick's gentleness and authenticity will be missed by all who knew him. On behalf of the Mc Kenna Families, may I offer our sincerest sympathies and condolences to his loving family Kevin, Kathleen, Regina and all his nephews, nieces and many friends.
