Paddy was truly a remarkable and special person. I will always carry with me the memory of his kindness, his warm sense of humour, and those unforgettable weekends when we listened to music and danced to Blue Moon. I also treasure the moments when I offered him Brazilian food to try, and he would so politely say “lovely”, even though it was clear he didn’t really like it. That sweetness and gentle way of his are things I will never forget.
