For medical reasons, we were regretably unable to attend Paddys funeral but we will forever remember both Paddy & Ita very fondly, may they now rest in peace together.

So sad to hear of Pat’s passing we had the pleasure of entertaining Pat and Ita here for family BBQs and he loved to regale us with stories of his times in the merchant navy and coming to stay with our Parents in Sydenham back in the early 60s. There was one particular story I can’t mention here but Colm or Annette Russel will remember it so ask them - so funny it involved either Mike or me and his suitcase. Anyway enough - RIP Pat it was a pleasure to know you

On behalf of the Roseingrave family I send our sincere condolences to Paddy's family. Both Ita and Paddy were great friends to my parents and in particular Paddy a great mentor and friend to our deceased brother Tom. I stayed in touch with both Ita and Paddy over the years meeting in the Orchard in Nutgrove for lunch now and again along with another dear friend Ritchie. Deeply saddened to learn of the sad passing of Paddy, now reunited in God’s Heavenly Kingdom with his beloved Ita. We enjoyed a day with them both, exploring the city of Mostar, with Paddy and Ita relishing where East and West converged. May he rest eternally in the light of the Lord’s perfect peace. I’ve known Paddy for many years, but became quite close to him in the last while. He became a great friend to me and taught me a lot about living. He bore his illness with great dignity and was always positive without being afraid of dying. It gave me great pleasure to help whenever he called for it. I will miss Paddy a lot.

We are so so sad at Pats passing the oldest member of our many cousins. He was someone we looked up too and loved being in his company at family reunions etc. He was regular visitor to Kilkenny with his brother's and sister Maura when we were younger. Great memories to treasure. He is now at peace with his beloved Ita. Rest in peace Pat. Never to be forgotten🙏🙏
