I was so sorry to hear Packie has died . Sincere condolences to all Packie’s family and many many friends .
He was indeed one of nature’s true gentlemen and will be greatly missed . I remember him well with his craic and smoking his pipe !
A lovely man with easy going ways who was held in the highest regard by all who had the privilege to know him
. A great and highly skilled craftsman . May Packie’s soul rest in well earned eternal peace . God rest him , he was a decent man .

There are so many great memories that I have with Paddy. My very first plane ride was with Paddy -
Dublin to Birmingham. That trip was also my first taste of English bitter beer - I haven’t had one since.

Travelling to Drogheda every day was fun. On one occasion, coming home in the old morris van with Paddy and Oliver, the back wheel suddenly came off and passed us ahead. We finally found the wheel in the ditch, but we had to source nuts from our three other wheels. Then the search was on for flat washers in the van. We were laughing so much that it hurt. Another typical night for Paddy.

I will greatly miss the conversations that we had over the years and have always treasured the advice that he gave me as a young man.
