My sincere sympathy to all of Paddy's family on his passing. My first time I met him was when I was a pupil at HRC I was a little small shy boy who was being bullied Paddy and Jay Smith, John Kenny and Michael Sharkey were playing hand ball and saw what was going on. They caught the bully and told him not to go near me again. They then came to me and told me if it ever happened again to tell them. After that I could see them keeping a eye out for me. That was 54 years ago and I never forget his his kindness to me. I never met him in later life to tell him how much it meant to me. I was only in 1 st year at the time. Good bye Paddy may you get rewarded in Heaven. R I P
