I knew Paddy though St. John and in particular his involvement in competitions which he was immensely passionate about. May Paddy's gentle soul rest in peace and may his many memories be a blessing.

To Judi, Patrice and extended family my heartfelt condolences on the passing of dearest Paddy. Although he wasn’t long in Anovocare he was so at home full of laughter and such a pleasure to know. To the Dockery family on the passing of a lovely man. May you remember the good times as I am sure you must have many. Paddy was a big part of the extended family of St John and made many friends across the island of Ireland. Competitions were such a big part of his life in St John and he brought many divisions together from north to south. To this day, he is still remembered by many for his constant smile at these events. May he find peace in Heaven with his loving wife Maura, of which we also have fond memories.

May the wings of an angel bring them together again in Heaven and may he rest in eternal peace.

I feel privileged to have known Paddy (and Maura). Nicer people one could not have met. Paddy was so helpful to others and always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile not far away.

I had the pleasure of knowing Paddy through a family history class. He was a pleasure to have in class - with a supportive word for everyone, a thirst for knowledge and always a laugh and twinkle in his eye. I am so sorry for all in the Dockery family. Paddy will be missed by all.

I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your dear father. I too lost my father in 2010 so I know the pain your heart feels. I meet Paddy at the adult education class and we hit it off straight away. We bounced off each other, if I had a problem he helped me and if he had a problem I helped him it has like the blind leading the blind but it worked, a true GENT take care old son you will be missed by a lot of people
you have giving me another problem what am I going to do on Thursday afternoon.
