I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Paddy, he was a true gent and a huge part of our lives growing up in Rathfarnham. Paddy had a rollerblading shop below the garden centre for a time and never once tired of us hanging around as teenagers, at one point he put a ginormous ramp out the front for us! Looking back now it was pure kindness that led him to do it.

Years later, he gave a few of us our first jobs selling Christmas trees, we still laugh about the days spent drinking tea and earning a few quid!

Thank you for everything Paddy, may you rest in peace
