With deep sadness I received the news of the death of Paddy. I was fortunate to enter the novitiate of SVD while Paddy was provincial. A man of deep faith, kind, compassionate,with an outreach to the marginalized. Paddy exemplified the true meaning of religious life by first of all living a Christian life. United again with his beloved Pat may the Lord reward Paddy with life eternal, after a life well lived. May Paddy Rest In Peace.

Condolences to all of Paddy's family & friends. I only met Paddy & Pat once - one Summer at Oughterlin church but what a lovely gentleman. He officiated at my Mum & Dad Mollie Deeney & Joe O Hegartys wedding in Dublin in 1972. A happy day and they both always spoke fondly of Paddy & his kind warm nature. Suaimhneas síoraí do anois.
