Just heard, am very upset to learn of the death of my friend on the internet, he looked ok when last I saw him at his house a couple of weeks ago, never heard he had gone into the hospice looked forward to his recovery, we believed the treatment had worked. Condolences to Gemma and the boys and all his family on losing a very special man, may he rest in peace - a thorough gentleman and a friend of ours for years. Farewell Paddy we will miss you.
Rest in Peace Paddy. It was a pleasure working with you in SWP.
Paddy was a giant of a man in every sense of the word.We of the Chiarains team of the sixty's & seventy's were much in awe of Paddy's talent as a footballer and hurler and the spirit he brought to his game. A gentleman on and off the field. I once remarked to him during a half time talk that our backs should dish out the same treatment to the opposing forwards similar to the treatment we were receiving from their backs. In true gentleman fashion he replied he would never resort to that type of game . I doubt that we will ever see the likes of Paddy again. R.I.P.
Dear Kevin and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sending our love from Boston.
