Paddy was a great friend to me while he was with the Nationalist . When I started my Printing Supply Business in 1974 Paddy was one of our best customers. But there was something else there that just brought home how kind he was .

Long retired I was sitting at home and Paddy crosses my mind why I don’t know but wondered if Paddy was still with us so googled RIP.IE to find Paddy passed away some weeks back. A candle will burn tomorrow asking St Lucia to look after Paddy.

All of us in Carlow Little Theatre Society are sad to learn of the recent passing of our former member Paddy.

Paddy and his family had a long association with the society, starting with his bother Donal in the 1950's and through his own involvement during 1960's to 1980's. Adept at both front or back stage roles, it was not uncommon to find Paddy both acting and managing the sound or lighting in the same production, such was his dedication during his time with us.

We remember Paddy with much fondness and offer our sincere condolences to all the Godfrey family, his friends and acquaintances at this sad time.
