I first knew Paddy in the late 70's as the friendly and helpful neighbour to three young Aer Lingus 'squaddies' in Grove Park Avenue. Ever busy but never so occupied that he couldn't share his time and good humour with you. As many have said here, he was one of life's gentlemen and for that, may he enjoy his heavenly reward. To Peter and all the family, mo thrua sibh.
