My deepest sympathies to Carol, Lynn, Patrick and all the Higgins family on the sad passing of Pat. I was very fond of Pat and spent a fantastic week with him all those years ago in RTÉ accompanying him on the stories he was covering. I can still vividly recall him suddenly grabbing his camera and running to cover a story in Leinster House, and he did it all with a huge smile on his face. It was a pleasure to spend time with him that week. He will be missed greatly but always think of the fond memories people have of him and treasure the happy times you shared together…may Pat’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
