Paddy built the house we have lived in for the last forty years. I got to know Paddy through mutual interest in local history. Paddy was an incredibly knowledgeable man, very intelligent, but most of all he was generous with his learning and knowledge. It was terrific to know that his mind was as active and curious as ever in the last few years. It was a privilege and a pleasure to have known you Paddy. May you rest in eternal peace.
