Well I can say that knowing Paddy Joe from my teenage years , working , socializing , playing sports & organizing club games within CP Security and various trips to Bunnyconlin in coaches over the years It has been a wonderful experience knowing and living with a Champion .
The McMillan Family are heart broken with this shocking news of Paddy's transition , as are a lot of my colleagues.
I was amazed at Paddy's artistic ability's and his ongoing achievement's in photography as an art. He had many publications over the years and had a lot more to give I'm sure.
Jesus ,Paddy you used to call at 7.30 to get me out of bed and into CP early to start work, I would like to say thanks for keeping me in a job for years ,but I will never forgive you for eating my breakfast made by my Mother each day which I was always too late to eat.......
I would like to say that my experience in life was molded and guided by you as many of our colleagues would agree .You will always be a ROCK to stand on.

Paddy Moran was at the very heart of the Mayo Association in Dublin for over 40 years and did so much great work during that time. He was one of the most helpful and obliging members you could ask for and was of great help to me on the numerous occasions I reported on the annual dinner dance in the Burlington Hotel.
Paddy had a great way with people and was on first name terms with so many from all over the country. He had a special bond with Bonniconlon and Attymass and his abiding passion for Mayo knew no limits. Wherever you met Paddy, you were guaranteed a warm and hearty welcome. Like so many others, he had a great respect for country legend, Big Tom, and many were the chats they enjoyed over the years. Paddy truly was one of the stout-hearted men from the county Mayo.
My condolences to Bridie, sons Shane and Ken, sister Agnes, brother Chris, in-laws, grandchildren and his many friends on the passing of a fine gentleman.

I have great memories of Paddy Joe from my time in Bell Communications / CP Security. He was a great supporter of all things Mayo and we had many a good verbal joust, with me being of a Maroon & White persuasion.
