Condolences to Paddy’s family on his sudden passing.
I played alongside Paddy on the Milltown junior team in the late 1980s. He was a pillar at full back, always calm and always looking out for those around him. His cousin Paul and his uncle John also played on that team and his uncle Kit was the team manager.
Paddy also played at centre-half for Milltown in the Kilmeague 7-a-side tournament in 1988, the first team to represent the village in soccer.
Always friendly, always a gentleman, may the light of heaven shine brightly on Paddy’s soul.
Thoughts and prayers with his extended family at this time and may God comfort you in your sadness.

Milltown GAA are greatly saddened at the sudden passing of Paddy a former member of the Club.

Paddy was corner back on the Milltown team that reached the Junior A final in 1984, and finally won a long cherished championship medal in red and green when Milltown won the Junior B championship in 1994, alongside his cousin Paul Murphy.
Although long since retired, he was a loyal supporter of the club, both on and off the field and he always represented the club with pride. Our deepest sympathies to his wife
