Very sorry to hear the news of Paddy’s passing ,was grateful for the bike he gave me as an apprentice, i bought him 20 cigarettes as he didn’t want any money for it . A pleasure to have known him ,and sincere condolences to his family and friends. May Paddy rest in peace .

To Paddy's family my sincere condolences. I met Paddy many times walking his dog trough the grounds of Tymonbawn CC when I was grounds person there. Most mornings we would have a chat. The sad thing now is I never got to know his name but I always enjoyed our chats. RIP big man .

Sorry to hear of the passing of Big Pat, he was a BFG and a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.

I was walking through glanmire Cork 10yrs ago, a man pulled up and asked me was I Francis. Upon realising it was my dear old friend paddy that I lost contact with 30yrs prior. I have known paddy since I was a young boy. We sat for hours and hours chatting. Paddy's smile beamed, on telling me how proud he was of his wife and family. We had became very dear friends once again.

My heart is broke for his wife and family on hearing this sad news.
