PATRICK (PADDY) KEARNS

I had the pleasure of finally meeting my cousin Patrick Kearns and his family when I visited Cork, Ireland in 2019. My Father John Kerins and my Mother Ann Kerins(Rice) left Ireland and headed to Canada with their 9 children December 1958, I am the youngest of those 9 children. Patrick’s Father and my grandfather were brothers. So 60 years later I found my way back to Ireland and went to Cork to visit my Father’s Cousins. It was such a wonderful and special day when the Kearns family from Cork, led by Patrick’s sister Kay had my Sister Theresa, niece Susan (Canada) and our cousin Geraldine O’Shea (from Dublin) over for lunch. It was so wonderful to finally meet our Kearns Cousins from Cork, and Patrick and his family were so welcoming, truly a special afternoon one I will never forget. Thinking of all of you during this very difficult time. Rest in Peace Cousin Patrick(Paddy) Kearns.
