Dear Naoise,

It has been a very long time and I have just learned of the passing of your wonderful dad Paddy. It's been over twenty five years since I first met Paddy and your mother Mary Liz and I became their childminder for near four years when you were just a very young child. I have wonderful memories of both your parents and yourself. And you and your family have always stayed in my heart. Yourself Naoise and your dad were so very alike, both sensitive and gentle souls with the same twinkly eyes and Paddy loved and adored you so much. He is closer to you now then ever. I know your Aunts Jane and Kate will be with you and help you during this very sad time. Sending you love, Edel.
Naoise&Aunties Thinking of you at this sad time.May Paddy Rest In Peace .
Dear Naoise,
Please accept my deepest sympathy, on the death of Paddy.
We first became acquainted, years ago, when out "Beagling"
with a group - up and down ditches etc, For a laugh - he used
to call me "Toots" ( a reference to my SLIGHTLY prominent
teeth. Always good for a joke.
May he rest in Peace.
Ann

Naoise, our hearts are with you as you bury your Dad.
He has rejoined his beloved Mary Liz but, right now, that is slim consolation to you.
What a terrible time to be waked and buried. Yet, what wonderful consolation to you in hearing from so many with whom your Dad spent his professional life. Obviously, he was a man to whom so many looked for guidance and what inspiration he bequeathed to all of them.
Naoise, you had such amazing parents and their memory will always be there for you when rough seas are encountered.
Our love to you and we are very grateful for the memories we have of people who are very much a part of you.
Sending all my love to Naoise and Joey and all the family X
Naoise, heartfelt sadness at dear Paddy'd death. The world is a poorer place at his passing. Paddy has always been a source of joy. His zest for life and his 'daring do' propelled him on many adventures. I had the good fortune of joining him cycling, climbing Croak Patrick, the Tochar Padraic, the maracycle, and along with Mary Liz weekends away and boating on the Shannon. Paddy loved people, parties and music. I have fond memories of us playing together at parties, he on the violin and me on the guitar. Paddy was a warm, gentle man who valued the art of conversation. He was courteous and generous with a scintillating good humour. He often spoke of you Naoise and thought the world of you. Love and hugs.
To the Kelly family.
So sorry to hear of your loss - and at a time when we can't properly celebrate his life.
Donnybrook Scouts are here if you need us.
God bless, and stay safe - all of you.
Thinking of you at this difficult time Naoise, God Bless
Dear Naoise

My sincere sympathy on the death of your beloved Dad. No man could have asked for a better daughter. You were his pride and joy and he loved you so much. He was a great Elm Park tennis player and had a tremendous interest in music. We often met at the National Cöncert Hall and were even known to sit together there.! He and your late Mum often joined COLIN Brennan’s table on a Friday night in Elm Park for dinner. You will have to keep up the family tradition by becoming a member!

Once again I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s death. Take care.

Naoise, very saddened to hear of your Dads passing. He was a great Godfather to me. He will be sorely missed.
Paddy was a wonderful colleague in An Foras Forbartha. He absolutely believed in the raison d'etre of the Foras.

He was also a great tennis player and I had the privilege of playing with him, Noel Hughes and others from An Foras many a time after work. It was always fun. He was a gentleman. May he rest in peace.
Dearest Naoise, we’re both sending you the biggest love imaginable at this tough time. We all loved loved Paddy, he was one in a million (and a cyclist!!) and the Naoise we know and love is living proof of what a brilliant dad he was, you’re a tribute to him. It might help to know that Paddy is “imithe romhainn, ni imithe uainn” , he’s gone from before us, not gone from us.
To Naoise, and Paddy’s whole family,

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll be thinking of you during this awful time and sending all positive thoughts your way. Always here if you need anything!

Lots of love,
Eleanor x
