On behalf of my Mam (Dolly) & I we wish to convey our sadness & condolences to Jeanette & family on the death of Paddy.
Paddy was the cornerstone of an incredibly successful juvenile division that got to the finals of The Smurfit Cup beating Portmarnock , The Island & Royal Dublin ( all away) in the process.
In addition the juvenile section produced 3 exceptional golfers who representing province & County ( Arthurs, McCarthy & Donnelly..)
Paddy was a gentleman , he made friends wherever he went ,galvanised the club membership in support of its young members making the juvenile section the feather in the cap of the club.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal sportúil.

So sad, Uncle Paddy was a lovely man, who could definitely spin a yarn. He will be sadly missed by his whole family. Our thoughts are with you all, particularly his strong beautiful wife, Jeanette.

Dear Jeanette, Jim, Gerry, Maurita and Cathy. I am deeply saddened to hear that Paddy has passed away. I have so many fond memories of Paddy from when I was a juvenile in Forrest Little. From playing in mixed competitions with him, to playing on club teams that he was in charge of and many more – I had so much love and respect for him. Paddy was so genuine and had great time for everybody, young and old. I will be forever grateful for all the encouragement he gave me as a juvenile. I always really enjoyed being in his company, where he might give a bit of advice or have a story to tell. One of life’s true Gentlemen who will be hugely missed by everybody who knew and loved him. RIP ‘Lovie’, I’ll never forget you XXX
