So sorry to learn of Paddy’s passing. My deepest sympathies to Rosemary, Gary, Susan and extended families. I first met Paddy many years ago when he tutored freshmen engineering students at UCC and later as a work colleague in County Hall. Paddy had a very pleasant manner, an easy disposition and an innate decency which made him valued, popular and much respected among his work colleagues. As has been said many times Paddy was also a gentleman to his fingertips. Rest in peace Paddy.

Sincere sympathy to Rosemary and family on Paddy's passing. I remember surveying the cable car to Dursey Island for Cork County Council with Paddy. He decided to take the fast option by climbing one of the vertical pylons,level in one hand,right up to the platform. I was impressed but took the slower and easier option using the cable car.
