What a legend, I think my Dad and he and a few others from the air corp, might have a few cheeky stories to tell! Paddy always seemed to have a glint in his eye when he was teasing me as a kid, great fun, wise, and always on the go to the next exciting adventure. Charismatic and scary all at once, you never knew what embarrassing thing he might say to you next. What happy memories ❤️ I hope they are having fun together again with that shared sense of mischievousness. So sorry for your loss, love Shivs, and fam Xx

It's a long time since I've seen Paddy but I remember his grin at our wedding, his sense of mischief on the racecourse at Kilbeggan, and I've some memories (albeit a little vague at this remove) of your visits to our house many years ago. Deepest sympathy to Jakki , Paul, Marcus, Susie and Danielle on the death of Paddy. I have some great memories of Paddy. He was the first person I met the day I joined the Air Corps (1957). Paddy and I managed a Bar in the back yard of Lynam's Pub at the Fleadh Ceoil in Mullingar (1963 approx) and we opened the first bar at the Dog Track for Jack Lynam a few months later. That was another great night. I remember some great winners out of Kerr's Yard, from tips he got from Barney Gogarty. He was great company and a true friend.

So many memories of my dear friend Paddy RIP. After meeting in London by accident, a long-lasting and deep friendship evolved. I’m so grateful for that. My deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of your beloved Paddy. As I write memories, when you were Jay, of that flat or rooms we shared in Ealing over the hairdresser salon, come flooding back. Paddy with his racing on TV, the very odd kitchen and, of course, baby Paul. What times were had by all.

Jakki, Paul, Marcus, Susie & Danielle, Very sorry to hear of your sad loss of Paddy, a good, hardworking husband, Dad & grandad, a kind-hearted, sociable man who'd talk to anyone and a quietly generous neighbour. He knew a thing or two about the racing game, of course and indeed all sports. The whole Lynam family seem to have inherited Paddy's country sense of humour and fun, a great asset for life. We'll keep Paddy in the prayers that The Lord will give him the same welcome he had for everyone else. RIP.
