Very sad to hear the news my late mum Rose and Grandmother and myself used to go into the Whitehart pub in the 70s and 80s Patrick was always a gentlemen my condolences to his family.

We got to know Paddy first as proprietor of the White Hart Inn (The Clinic, as our father referred to it). It was to 'The Clinic' that a fellow would retreat after the day's work was done for psychological services (amongst many others) that Paddy offered free with a pint.
