It's with great sadness that I write this, on behalf of myself and all my family. Paddy was a true gentleman. Not only was he our neighbour but he was also my boss for many years. I loved him. From sitting on the foam padded board as a kid to my last haircut with Paddy, when greying in my 20s, concerned that added baldness was to be my fate (my Dad and brother were strong indicators), he dryly remarked "Better lose your colour than lose your grip. You'll be alright". The relief! And he was right.
