It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of Paddy Moran only having chatted with him recently.
Sincere and deepest sympathy to all of Paddy’s family, his wife Anne, sons and daughters, to the Moran family and extended families, and to his many friends and work colleagues within the Athlone West community he loved so much, and lived and worked throughout his lifetime.
Remembering Paddy Moran for his amusing and pleasant character, his sharp wit, and his great affinity with Athlone people, and Athlone Town Football Club. I have known Paddy for a lifetime during his work and personal life and it was alway’s a pleasure to meet, greet and chat with him at any time. Remembering Meeting Paddy in times past when I handed over the new house in Lyster Street to his Parents Midge and Peg and Michael in the late 70’s and the joy he expressed that his parents had a lovely home for their retirement.
