I am so very sorry for the passing of Paddy. We were neighbours for a long time on the steps. He was such a quiet gent and we would always meet outside 'NIROS' with kids from Ashe street.
He was very much part of my childhood and I will miss his presence in the town.

To Teresa, George, Ellen, Denis, Mag and Rob; we offer our condolences on the passing of Paddy R.I.P. Paddy was a prominent and valued member of the 4 Infantry Battalion. He was a solid ,dependable soldier in the 1970s and 1980s when the Unit was often under pressure. Paddy was also very capable in stores management and logistics. He served with distinction in UNEF 2, Sinai, UNFICYP, Cyprus and UNIFIL, Lebanon.

Sincere sympathies to Teresa and the extended family. I served with Paddy in Collins Barracks back in 1970 s'. A Gentleman and an exemplary soldier. Many years later I used to meet Paddy as he walked his dog in Youghal and he always had a smile and a genuine word of friendship.
