I remember Paddy for his good humour, giving of his time especially for novenas, photographs taken by him during band parades, radio competitions, advice on repairs of household goods and his diligence in attempting to find solutions to problems, especially ones he might have had a hand in creating.

I have very fond memories of visiting their lovely home in lifford gardens on a very basis in the seventies Many years later l can still recall their kindness and generosity I was never allowed out without the tea and if there was a slight chance of rain Paddy would insist driving me home.
