I had the honour of being one of Paddy’s carers, and I can genuinely say he left a lasting impact on me. I learned so much from him — his sharp sense of humour, gentle kindness, and remarkable humility always stood out. He carried himself with such grace and warmth, and it was a true privilege to spend time with him and be part of his daily life.

I deeply admired the bond between Paddy and Declan — they were real partners. Declan’s dedication to both his parents never went unseen, and I’m truly appreciative of the care, love, and support he always showed.

Paddy will be deeply missed.

All though we live the other side of the world we remember Paddy fondly from their visits. We remember him as a kind hearted man who had a great connection with his granddaughters. We are very sad for his family’s loss.

Thinking of our good friends Darragh and Ciara, and their family at this very sad time. We know how much Darragh’s Pop meant to him. May Pop Rest In Peace xx
