We only met Paddy once a few years ago, but we had a really great chat together...he was a lovely man. May he rest in peace.

I have lovely memories as a young girl of going to the butcher's with my father Kevin, first in Tallaght village (where Mrs. Reilly wrote the receipts in pencil) and later in Castletymon. He would always greet us both warmly. May he rest in peace.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Paddy and sincere sympathy to Paul and his family at this time. We were fortunate enough to take over Paddy’s butcher shop in Tallaght Village after he retired. We will never forget how much help and support Paddy gave to us during the transition. Paddy very kindly stayed for a few weeks afterwards to introduce us to his all of his loyal customers and friends. A true gentleman for sure.
