Patrick (Paddy) REILLY

We were so sad to hear about Paddy. He was such a lovely and kind human being and was very much part of our family history as we spent our family holidays with you all. Paddy’s death reminds us that as we age, our world seems to get smaller and sadder as the people we love leave it, and we are left with such awful pain and loss, but what wonderful memories you all must have … these will live on and will I’m sure in time, give you great comfort. We are thinking of you all, Margaret, Carmel and Gerald xx

I was so sorry to hear from Patsy- my sister- that Paddy had died, may he rest in peace.
I have fond memories of days in the Reilly household in Roskeagh as children, with your mother cheerfully looking after all of us as well as her own family. Paddy was just a little boy then and we were not that much older.
You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Paddy is now reunited with his beloved Mary.
May they both enjoy eternal rest. Such a lovely, quiet, unassuming gentleman.
He went about in his own quiet way.
I had many a chat with him on his very frequent visits to Brid a Chrinn graveyard when he'd visit Mary's grave.
