Patrick (Paddy) Rochford

I first met Paddy back in 2010 in college, and from the start he was someone you couldn’t help but be fond of. We always had great chats, nights out, and he had that rare way of making conversations easy, honest, and memorable. We shared a lot in common and often went against the grain on that course and subsequently which built a connection I really valued.
Paddy was a genuine, thoughtful, and decent man, and he’ll be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. I’ll miss our chats, and I’ll remember him with real affection and respect.
May Paddy rest in peace.

Pads was my best friend in tusla airside emma as you know .. thank 😊 🙏 you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ for letting me say goodbye in a silent way in the hospice that day. Paddy brought charm ..fun ..his charisma and style to Airside by introducing our male folk to suits to work when appearing in court. That legacy lives on to this day . But paddy was definitely the most dapper in his suits . He was real ..honest and was never afraid to 'say how it was' and thats why we got on so well ...beautiful photo of paddy that i will ensure is printed ..framed and honoured 🎖 in the Tusla office in airside x fly high now pads

Emma,
I only met Paddy a handful of times since I’ve known you, but he made a lasting impression on me. I remember chatting with him at your house a couple of years ago when he told me about a minor car accident he’d been in – a young lad had gone into the back of him because he was on his phone. Paddy empathised with the young man and let him off without exchanging insurance details. That small act of kindness and understanding spoke volumes about the person he was.

Paddy, was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I worked alongside Paddy for years in Airside. Paddy was always so kind to me, very supportive and always maintained a positive attitude. Patrick was my first cousin once removed and I first met him at Lough Talt aged 3 at his brother's christening and he was so chatty running around, he was just so happy and excited and intelligent for his age.

I then met him many years later again at Lough Talt with my husband and what a kind, considerate (still chatting!!) and good looking guy he was.

I have never met Emma but you chose a good one.

It's not easy watching your love ones fight the good fight.

Hearts really do get broken.

Emma, Anthony, Leonard, PJ and his dear mum Essie no words will make you feel better only memories of your own Saint Patrick (albeit maybe he wasn't always a saint!!)
