I’ve great memories of my time as a bar man at “the old hat” in Hanwell and also at “The Festhers” Ealing, Broadway and finally at “The Beaumont Arms” Shepherds Bush.Pat was one of my best customers and friend of the Great Jack Doyle “the gorgeous Gael”. We all remembered him also as the image of the late Richard Burton. Also remembered by Michael, Paul and Christy Walsh Mitchelstown . Will always be remembered by my late brother Con who was his great friend. May Pats gentle soul rest in peace.

Uncle Paddy was truly a lovely man, an absolute gent! He studied in U.C.C. and headed for the bright lights of London where he chose and worked in many different career paths. He was a very intelligent man, and a cryptic crossword was done in jig time, with most of us still trying to figure the first clue. He was kind and caring and had great empathy for others. During his time driving the bus to cork he would sit with the homeless and buy them hot drinks and food. I have many good memories of Paddy,especially the Christmas card games that went on until all hours. Paddy would tell stories that would have us in stitches. Fly high paddy.
May your gentle soul rest in peace.
