Our sincere condolences to the Staunton family on the very sad loss of your beloved Paddy. As one of the first students to attend St. Colman’s College in the class of 1945 it was our privilege to welcome him back to our 75th anniversary Mass and celebration some years ago. He was delighted to be there to celebrate with us and we will always have lovely memories of being with him on that wonderful occasion. May Paddy now Rest in Peace 🙏

A life long friend of our family and a classmate of our Dad in the opening year of St Colman's, Paddy has left a lasting legacy on the fabric of Claremorris and the wider community. Always engaging, Paddy had a great work ethic and was one of lifes true gentlemen.

Very sorry to hear of Paddy’s death. He and Kathleen were stalwarts of Claremorris throughout their long lives and their footprints will last for a very long time. Paddy has now rejoined his beloved Kathleen . My condolences to all the extended Staunton family for their deep loss
