My condolences to paddy’s family at this very sad time I hade the pleasure of working alongside paddy for many years when he arrived into the Town hall yard from Ardee you could not have met a nicer guy no job was a problem he just got on with it took everything in his stride and he became a great friend to me and all the lads in the yard Paddy you will be so sadly missed rest well.

Life would be a better place if we had more people in it like Paddy Taaffe, he took his diagnosis last year with the usual quiet way as he carried himself through his life with such dignity ,he was someone who you could rely on always with great craic and support ,so glad to call him my friend gone from this world too soon with still so much to give, looking forward to the next chapter his retirement ,may you now rest in peace .

RIP PADDY🙏🙏🙏

Never was the proverb [Actions speak louder than words] more fitting to describe a man than Paddy Taafe.
Paddy was a quiet man, a gentleman, who let his actions speak for himself and his silence filled by all the good deeds he had done.
Always on hand to assist anyone, he helped countless people wheter through his job in Louth County Council or on a personal basis.
Nothing was ever a problem for paddy or no job was ever too big.
He will be sorely missed by all his friends in the council yard in Dundalk and by family and friends far and wide.
The world would be a far better place if we had more Paddy Taafes.
