Condolences to the Taaffe Family

Never was the proverb [Actions speak louder than words] more fitting to describe a man than Paddy Taafe.
Paddy was a quiet man, a gentleman, who let his actions speak for himself and his silence filled by all the good deeds he had done.
Always on hand to assist anyone, he helped countless people wheter through his job in Louth County Council or on a personal basis.
Nothing was ever a problem for paddy or no job was ever too big.
He will be sorely missed by all his friends in the council yard in Dundalk and by family and friends far and wide.
The world would be a far better place if we had more Paddy Taafes.

I was very saddened to learn of the sad passing of Paddy. Sincere condolences to Paddy’s wife , family and countless friends .
Paddy stood head and shoulders above the crowd . He had a beautiful easy going way about him, a gentleman in the true sense of the word . A word that is much overused but in Paddy’s case it is richly deserved . A quiet humble man who exuded humility . I knew Paddy from Louth Co Council and had the honour and privilege to have many’s a chat with him . An exceptional human being who was an inspiration to us all on how to interact with people in his own soft gentle way . Paddy brightened up a lot of people’s lives and his passing will leave a huge void that will never be filled .If only there were more ‘Paddys ‘ about the world would be a much better place , indeed this world is a poorer place without Paddy . Rest easy old pal , your work here is done . May Paddy’s soul rest in much deserved eternal peace.
